Actor/producer Zachary John Quinto is 6’2”. Quinto is perhaps best recognized for playing the character of “Spock” in the rebooted “Star Trek” films. He also guest-starred on the television series “24” in 2003 and 2004, and he played the character of “Sylar” on the television sci-fi drama series “Heroes” from 2006-2010. Quinto won the Gene Kelly Award in high school for his participation in musical performances, and he went on to attend Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama, graduating in 1999. His first television appearance was on the brief series “The Others,” and from there he went on to guest star on shows like “Touched By an Angel,” “CSI,” “Lizzie McGuire,” and “Charmed.” He also played the character of “Sasan” on Tori Spelling’s VH1 series “So NoTORIous.” Upon being cast as “Spock” in J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” reboot in 2007, Quinto revealed that original “Spock” actor Leonard Nimoy had provided approval over who could be cast as the young “Spock.” Nimoy was impressed with Quinto’s equal combination of gravity and humor that he brought to the character, and he thought he would make a great “Spock.” Quinto, along with Neal Dodson and Corey Moosa, have co-founded Before the Door Pictures, which focuses on projects involving film, television, and graphic novels. Quinto has come out openly as homosexual, and he has confirmed that he is currently in a relationship with “Glee” actor Jonathan Groff.
