Prince Charles stands tall at a regal 5 feet, 10 inches. Born on November 14th, 1948 at the Buckingham Palace, Charles is the heir apparent to the British throne. He is the longest heir apparent to serve in the history of Britain. While all of the past British royalty had completed their education under a private tutor, the Palace advisors made the decision in 1955 that Charles would attend a regular school. He thus became the very first heir apparent that had ever been educated in this way. While the royal secession would normally dictate that Charles would have taken his father’s titles of nobility, but George VI issued letters that allowed Charles to become the heir apparent from the time of his birth.
